》University opens on today [By Oliver Wang]

This term begins on today,a great number of students back to University.Now,campus is very lively and library too.
Interesting of learning English is steadily on the increase.Yesterday,I bought a Daily China and read several reports,I found a good deal of words that I didn't understand.I hated myself when I read a word of I ought to understand and I don't understand it once a time.But now ,I want to change present situation.My meaning's I need those master-hands' help.

这是第三篇，最近忙于翻译一些关于波斯纳和贝克的英文作品，所以没有好好写我的日记了。作一下注释："term begins"是开学的意思，但是"University opens"是学校开放的意思，也可以引申为开学。"a great number of"表示很多的意思，相同意思的还有"a good number of","a great many"和"a good many"但是这跟可数名词，相关的还有"a great deal"和"a good deal"同样可表示“许多”，其它的还有"a store of"可表示“大量”和“许多”。"be steadily on the increase"是“日益”的意思。有一句话，我拿不准，语法应该会有错"I hated myself when I read a word of I ought to understand and I don't understand it once a time."这句话的意思是”每次，当我读到一个我原本应该认识的，而我却不认识的时候，我就会恨我自己。”"master-hand"是“高手”的意思，这里表示“英语能手”。
